about

Harm’s Way is the debut solo EP by Rob Webster, a long time West-ender more often found singing, writing and guitaring for Toronto roots-rockers The Key Frames. Its five songs began as an odds-and-ends collection unified by the production of Matthew Bailey (Sam Cash, Kirty) and infused with the slow exposure of giant snowflakes falling outside a school portable on Toronto Island in January. Taking its cues from influences such as Big Star, The Velvet Underground and The Left Banke, the digital-only EP is now available at robwebstermusic.bandcamp.com.

about

Rob Webster Toronto, Ontario

Rob Webster lives in Toronto and is usually hanging out with his band The Key Frames a lot more often than he is doing his own stuff. But this is his own stuff: noisy odds, piano sods and stringy ends.

"Harm's Way" is an EP recorded with Matthew Bailey at the Gas Station on Toronto Island in January 2013.
